My vision

My Vision

The vision for this website and my drawings initially is to raise money for ministries around the globe.

Which ministries, you might ask?

Neil and Alece van Rensburg
Thrive Africa

Thrive Africa is all about guiding people to become fully-devoted followers of Christ and equipping them to be leaders who are highly competent and strong in character. We train pastors, teach discipleship classes, promote AIDS prevention through abstinence, and inspire young people through our youth camps.

Rusty and Brooks Munson

We are missionaries serving in Kenya, Africa with Africa Inland Mission (AIM). Currently we are working at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) as Dorm Parents to twelve 5th & 6th grade boys and teachers of 7th & 8th grade computers (Rusty) and Photography (Brooks)!  Rusty is the Lab Manager in the school’s computer labs as well as the Web Design teacher. You can see a little about the school on this video. God has awesome plans in store for us and we want to be part of those plans.

Shane and Misti Hopkins
Global Outfitters

Shane and Misti are Missions Pastors at The Well in Fairbanks Alaska.  They minister among the very poor, while keeping a strong focus for world missions.

Rick and Tanya Schwendinger

Rick and Tanya currently live stateside, but are missionaries in Ukraine.  Their vision is to raise up other pastors, churches, and ministries as God leads.  They have raised up The Christmas Children’s Project which has raised thousands of dollars for Christmas gifts to go directly into the hands of Homeless Children and Orphans (at Christian and State Orphanages). This presentation of the Gospel is very effective in the Ukrainian culture, and has gained momentum in just a few years.

These are just a few of the ministries I would love to be able to support with Annie’s Art.  In the future perhaps I will be able to turn this into a business website, wherein I can earn money at home and be able to start raising a family with my husband.  This is a dream that is very dear to my heart.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. You send me a photograph that you would like turned into a hand drawn picture.
  2. I draw it.
  3. The return will be a minimum $25 donation plus the cost of shipping the picture to you.

That’s it!  Why the $25 minimum, you ask?  Well, I want to make sure that everyone is capable of participating, should they wish to.  Also this venture has a side benefit of filling up my portfolio with many lovely pictures, should this become a successful business some day.  I will (unless you specifically request otherwise) be posting the ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures on this website as advertising and as examples of my work. If you would like to contribute more than $25, you are more than welcome to.

For any questions concerning your hand-drawn picture, please see the Your Questions page.

Thanks for sharing in my vision!
